We recently released some new features for NetGuard that make the service much more powerful and move it toward our longer term vision for it. Originally, NetGuard gave the end user a secure, encrypted connection to the internet. This allowed organizations to protect against network threats like phishing, web malware, or even people trying to eavesdrop on an unencrypted connection.
For companies that need additional policies and controls over their employee internet usage, we now support the blocking of over 70 website categories, black-listing, and white-listing of URL’s. This is ideal for companies that need to follow strict compliance guidelines or are under external regulations. We believe NetGuard is the simplest way for an organization to deploy a fully compliant and secure network for mobile devices. A company can have devices up and running with it in less than 15 minutes.
